Participate in-deep technical cloud architecture discussions and bring experience with cloud computing, Open stack, Docker, Kubernetes, Network Functions Virtualization, Software Defined Networks, Cloud Storage, Distributed Frameworks, IP, and virtual networking• Build a full stack “infrastructure as code” and DevOps systems to automate build of a highly distributed OpenShift network cloud.• Develop GitOps framework to support OpenShift & Openstack deployments with CI/CD systems, Integration of network & service assurance features – with ability to test, deploy, rollback, roll forward and complete audit trail.• Build and maintain developer SDKs that highlight best practices and useful techniques, including thoughtful documentation and examples• Develop operational tools to maintain the security, stability, and performance of the OpenShift Container platforms in multiple datacenters & network circles.• Integrate hardware accelerators, device-plugins, Container Networking Interfaces (CNI), Meta-plugins, SRIOV, Service Mesh for a highly performant telco network functions (VNF/CNF)• Work backwards with the network applications and operations teams, contribute to the definition of specifications for new cloud features, and own the full-lifecycle development and implementation of those features.• Identify opportunities to automate the manual tasks including identification of new features required for automation and enhancing the features that exist to reduce the total VNF onboarding timeframe.• Build best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more.• Installing, configuring, solving, and deploying OpenShift related infrastructure and cluster services in a distribute telco cloud environment to support container-based application virtualization.• Create HLD/LLD for Cloud implementations.Experience– Experience operating Kubernetes on-premises at scale in capacities including SRE, systems design or architecture– Providing guidance and building platforms across multiple zones and regions as foundation for other teams to build distributed highly available applications– Proficient in modern CI/CD techniques, GitOps and Infrastructure as Code– Experience with Kubernetes, either as an administrator of Kubernetes clusters or as a developer deploying applications to Kubernetes– Five years of experience with Network functions Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networks (SDN)– Knowledge of network function virtualization technology such as DPDK, SRIOV– Knowledge of how container runtimes work inside of Linux (isolation, storage, and networking)– Good understanding of Datacenter virtualization technologies (servers, networks, and software stacks), monitoring tools and processes.– Thorough knowledge of (including advanced troubleshooting skills in) Linux, shell scripting; any distribution other than Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is required.
